It is worth noting the upcoming Web Summit 2019, which will be held from November 4 to 11 in Lisbon. So, this is the largest technology event in the world. During the week the summit will be attended by over 70,000 people, including leaders and founders of start-ups and technology companies, politicians, heads of state, media personalities, influential investors, and many others.
The event, connecting representatives of the technological community for communication and integration with other industries, will traditionally be held in a format bringing together more than a dozen different conferences, 170 Summit participating countries, 1,200 speakers and 2,600 journalists. The whole program, one way or another, is aimed at finding an answer to the question about the further development of technologies, their application in society, industry, politics, management and other areas. At the moment, there is no exact timetable and all the issues that will be raised at the summit, but we can say with confidence that the declared directions cannot but concern the issue of interest to us.
